6NowSecure

IPv6Now has used innovative IPv6 technologies to build an ultra-private collaborative environment - 6Now Secure - which provides easy, effective security for confidential communications. You can share anything, from a single application to your whole desktop, with others in complete security - in offices, cafes, airport lounges, across the city, or around the world. This environment can support IPv6-only collaborative tools even if your service provider does not offer native IPv6. 6NowSecure is based on Microsoft's 'Windows MeetingSpace' (WMS), provided with Vista and future operating systems.

WMS operates only via IPv6, and Vista is becoming available on millions of corporate computers. WMS allows invited people (who must also be using WMS) to join a 'meeting', which means that they can all see nominated applications, or even the entire desktop of the person calling the meeting. 6NowSecure includes access to a tunnel broker, providing IPv6 connectivity to other clients for the purpose of running WMS. The connections are end-to-end-encrypted using IPSec, so are completely private.

The system also incorporates a mail server, so that invitations may be sent to participants, and a chat server. Only clients using 6NowSecure can communicate with each other - the connectivity offered is not to the wider IPv6 or IPv4 Internet. It is expected that other collaboration tools will also be usable via the secure connections we offer.
